EastEnders star Lacey Turner hosts the new podcast We Started Here, where she is joined by film and TV legends, from on and off screen, who began their careers in soaps. Produced by BBC Studios Drama Productions and Colour It In Studios, the podcast explores how soap opera experiences shaped successful careers in film and TV.

EastEnders Multicam Training Videos
As part of the EastEnders Multi-Camera Course, trainee directors shot a special online mini-series centred around one of the show’s longest-serving characters, Tracey The Barmaid (Jane Slaughter), with guest appearances from Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale), Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) and Harriet Thorpe (Elaine Peacock). The shorts see Tracey celebrate her milestone 60th birthday.
Pobol y Cwm Academy Training Film
As part of the Pobol y Cwm Academy, trainees created show a special short film. This film was brought to life in partnership with BBC Studios, Creative Wales and Sgil Cymru as part of the BFI Skills Cluster for Wales.
River City Academy Training Films
As part of our River City Training Academy, trainees created two special films set in the fictional world of Shieldinch. These films were brought to life in partnership with BBC Studios and Screen Scotland.
