Richard Greene, one of the world’s most respected international public speaking coaches, is set to join BBC’s Maestro’s online platform of world-class experts.
His course, Public Speaking and Communication, will teach viewers how to tangibly become better communicators, with lessons dedicated to both tackling the fear of public speaking and exploring the seven secrets shared by great public speakers. Richard’s extensive background in helping people handle the spotlight has earned him numerous accolades and recognition across the globe. With a career spanning over three decades, Richard has lectured in 53 countries, acted as Communication Strategist on 10 Presidential and Prime Ministerial campaigns, and conducted workshops and private sessions for CEOs, CFOs, Cabinet Ministers, Governors, Senators, and even Princess Diana.
Across 26 lessons, Richard distills his expertise into a comprehensive course that empowers viewers to unlock their full potential and become more confident, compelling speakers by sharing revolutionary approaches to overcoming fear, engaging audiences, storytelling, improving voice tone and body language, handling difficult communications, and tackling “Imposter Syndrome” in the workplace.
Whether your goal is to improve ahead of an upcoming presentation, interview, boardroom pitch or wedding speech, the course’s practical strategies and insightful techniques have been designed to address the universal desire to hone speaking skills. Public Speaking and Communication also features a series of workshops where we watch Richard demonstrating, in real time, how his methods almost immediately help everyone, from podcast hosts, educators, and scientists, to wedding celebrants and activists, to become better communicators.
“I am proud to be joining BBC Maestro and sharing my expertise with all those eager to develop their public speaking and communication skills.
Everyone – no matter who they are – can become a charismatic, confident and compelling speaker. Really everyone. And the only reason so many are afraid is because public communication is rarely taught with the new science and new approaches that actually make it incredibly easy . . . and fun.
There are 7 easily learned Secrets to being a great speaker and communicator and an improvement in any one of them generates an exponential increase in one’s ability to conquer stage fright, unlock the power of their voices, and make a lasting impact with their words . . . and nothing gives me more pleasure than making that happen in incredibly short periods of time.”
Richard’s course on Public Speaking and Communication will be available later this year via bbcmaestro.com. The BBC Maestro platform features a series of extended, in-depth lessons filmed in 4K with an eclectic mix of prestigious experts and allows participants to explore new areas of learning from the comfort of their own home. The commercial online education platform developed and operated by Maestro Media Ltd offers individual courses which can be purchased for £79, and annual subscriptions for £120.
