1. About
Good Omens Series 2, produced by BBC Studios together with Amazon Prime, are filming in Scotland and are looking for people who are keen to be a part of the film and television industry. This paid traineeship, in association with Creative Scotland, will not only introduce you to the world of film and TV making but will teach, train and develop your skills. You will be gaining on the job experience, learning a wide range of skills and knowledge from your mentor and the rest of your team. There will also be the opportunity to participate in external training courses relevant to the industry and your department.
No previous experience is required. Must be Scotland based.

Due to Covid-19 all trainees must be able to travel to the production base and the locations safely which means ideally avoiding public transport. In addition, some of the roles, for example camera, AD or grip will require travel to a variety of different locations outside of towns and cities early in the morning and possibly late at night so are likely to necessitate being driven or driving yourself. For the successful candidates provisions will be made for those who are unable to drive or who do not have a car.
Filming will commence in October and all trainees will have some prep time before the filming begins. The scheme will finish on or around 11th March. There will be a three week hiatus over Christmas. This production is based near Bathgate and will be filming in studios and locations in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Video Assist Trainee - Start Date 13th October 2021

No previous TV/Film experience is required, but please do have a look at the above jobs and have a think about which job you would like to apply for.
